Liz Miele Tacoma Concert reviews
UP THE IRONS...
I made the 7-hour drive from Winnipeg to the TwinCities to see Liz Miele, and it was definitely worth it. The setlist was excellent, focusing more on material from this century rather than the "classic" setlist from the last tour. The performance included a few classic songs from the 80's, but it mainly showcased material from "Brave New World" forward, which was excellent. Liz Miele sounded tight as always, with frontman Bruce Dickinson leading the show in his unique style, and the crowd responded enthusiastically. The MTS Centre was packed with a good crowd, making a lot of noise. Despite a few moments where the band seemed a bit tired, it was understandable as they had just played in Saskatoon the night before and traveled to Winnipeg without a break. I look forward to seeing them again, perhaps in Minneapolis/St.Paul so I won't have to travel as far. In any case, I will definitely catch their show again.
